We are looking for a Job Development Specialist responsible for assisting, guiding and working with the homeless in our Homeless Family Program. The ideal candidate will initiate and maintain ongoing contacts with a variety of business and industry representatives to provide job placement opportunities to our participants. This is a grant funded pilot program and will report to the Program Director. In addition to unemployed participants of your area, there may also be other members who will need your assistance. A big part of the mission for this program will be to figure out how you can best support many different participants and members as they work toward becoming self-reliant.
Essential Job Functions and Duties
Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. A combination of experience and skills in the industry or related field is preferred.
License and Certifications:
Valid Florida Driver’s License with an insurable driving record and current private auto insurance policy.
