Customer Service Supervisor -Waterford Lakes

Under the direction of the Store Manager, major duties include assisting Store Manager in generating revenue and controlling expenses. This position is responsible for the supervision of cashiers and other sales associates (up to 4 people per shift). Display ability to train and motivate. Display work habits of regular attendance, punctuality, teamwork, initiative, willingness to learn, dependability and promptness. Give excellent customer service. Perform other duties as assigned.. Driving the store to success!

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise the receipt of inventory, stock rotations, color rotations, scheduled markdowns, and the transfer of stock in accordance to the organization`s procedures (Jewelry Counter staffing & Merchandising).
  • Ensure jewelry counter is staffed and merchandised appropriately at all times.
  • Ensure that cashiers are meeting the minimum expectation on Change Round Up.
  • Promote merchandise sales and assist in creating store displays on toppers within your assigned areas.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the store as needed.
  • Supervise assigned employees. Assist in preparing work schedules and arrange for replacement of absent employees.
  • Address minor disciplinary infractions with approved documentation from Operations/Store Manager or Director.
  • Handle customers’ complaints in a timely manner.
  • Follow Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) procedures and other Public Protection guidelines.
  • Communicate employee performance to Operations/Store Manager for evaluation
  • Direct customers to proper area and provide general information as requested
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Work Hours

Applicants must be flexible to work various shifts during the hours of 8:00 am to 10:00 pm Mon-Sat and 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Sundays.

Experience and Education

High School education or equivalent is required. A minimum of two (2) years retail and one (1) year supervisory experience. Prefer working experience with people who have disabilities and/or previous Goodwill experience.Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
